When to send bridal shower invitations
Send bridal shower invitations four to six weeks before the shower. The shower itself usually takes place two to three months before the wedding, so guests aren't juggling it alongside final wedding plans.
What to include
- The bride's name (and partner's, for a couples shower)
- Date, time and address
- Host names and RSVP details with an RSVP-by date
- Registry information, or a separate insert card
- Theme or dress notes, e.g. “brunch attire” or “bring a recipe card”
